I found in 2 cases they have more than 1 Khan Academy account. One of them is connected to CollegeBoard and one isn't.

I am having the same problem with multiple students. Their account says they are connected to CollegeBoard, but they are listed as "not linked" on my teacher dashboard. Here are the images:
