Had it ever happened to you where a post just disappears without you deleting it or anything?
Because a week or 2 ago, a friend of mine, Homeschool Girl made a post, and I told a few people about it, and it got 4 votes and about 19 comments, and I was just messaging in there when I got a “you are not authorized to access this page”, and when I went to the more general thing where all the posts are, it had disappeared!
I asked her about it, and she said that she didn’t do anything, and she can’t find it either!
So…does Khan delete posts if it gets too popular or something? Like only 5 people were there…Homeschool Girl, who posted it, myself and 3 others. But 1 of them found it yesterday, and the other 2 found it today…so I’m kind of wondering, does Khan delete posts if in a 2 day span 3 people join?
I assume this was a post either in a course's Discussion area or under a computer program.
As far as I know, posts are only deleted if a Khan Academy Guardian (sometimes called a moderator) decides it goes against Khan Academy Community Guidelines. Usually they had their attention drawn to the post because a user flagged it.
(There are popular posts with hundreds of votes and hundreds of Comments, so getting too many votes or Comments does not cause deletion.)

Oh sorry, I just found out yesterday that she thinks that she’s getting banned, and then I figured out that when you get banned your posts get hidden.
So I was just coming here to delete that comment.
Oh and the post that I was talking about was a here, on Feature Requests and General Site Feedback, about 12 days ago.

Yes, the pending approval is frustrating. It can happen because of links/web addresses, but also because of keywords/phrases. KA staff will not tell us the details (probably so people can't circumvent it for bad purposes). I've had text-only posts that were held for approval, and some posts that were still being held for approval after 23 days, until I submitted a support request.
If it's still pending after a few weekdays, I'd use "Report a problem" to submit a support request asking for the post to be approved.

Does this happen with you? And if it does, could you report it for me please? Thank you.
I would report it myself, but in one of the options where you are given options and you have to pick one, I don’t fit in.
Supposedly the KA Content Team regularly reviews those mistake reports that are visible below the video, so they should have known about it for over a year now. In fact, KA staff have repeatedly told me to use that method to report mistakes rather than using the "Report a problem" in the Help Center.
(I have had multiple times when I reported a problem with a KA video or article and it still wasn't resolved a year later. One of them is a simple typo in the captions & transcript that should be a super simple fix. I have a difficult time believing KA cares anymore.)
If you want to report the issue directly using "Report a problem", maybe I could help you figure out what choice to make on the option where you think you don't fit in. For example, I choose "Learner or student" even though I spend more time helping others than doing my own learning.
For "How are you using Khan Academy? ...", it's okay to pick whichever choice feels closest to you. (If you want to, you can explain in the request itself that they don't offer a choice that fits your situation and suggest that they make it clearer which options should be selected by homeschooled students that aren't in a class. I have no expectation that Khan Academy will change anything, though, and they may not even respond to that part of your request.)
It sounds like you start with "I'm experiencing a technical issue ...",
and then choose "Performance or networking issue ...",
followed by "Performance issue with videos or articles". That's probably fine.
Alternatively, for "What is your technical issue about?" you could choose "Video or Article Issue":
and then "Videos aren't playing properly":
The prompt for "First name" is "What should we call you?", so I think you can use Bookworm if that's how you want them to address you.

Sorry again for bugging you with trivial stuff. But I just realized…you can actually get flagged for posting technical problems under a video? I was just looking at the flag, and right at the bottom, under “flag as about the site”, there’s “a technical problem with the site”.
Does that mean that you can actually get in trouble for that? I mean, yes it’s attracting guardian attention…but is it in a bad way? Like you can get in trouble kind of way?

I don't think that the person who made the post gets in any trouble for posting about a technical problem with the site. I don't actually know how guardians handle that (though I could go back through the long thread I had with Evan Lewis last year trying to understand what to flag and what the consequences were). My hope would be that the guardian would forward the issue to appropriate KA staff; they might also try to educate the user on the preferred way to contact KA about technical problems.
If a user isn't allowed by their parents/guardians to have a login for the Help Center, the only ways I can think of for them to report a problem is to ask someone else (teacher, parent/guardian) to report the problem, or to post a Question or Tip about it and flag it themselves. I don't know if Khan Academy has thought about that.
