Bookworm,
If you're referring to the "Comparing proportionality constants" video, I still can't play anything after 2:29, though it does now show as completed.
When a support request is marked solved, that doesn't always mean the issue is solved:
I replied that it's confusing and frustrating to users to label it "solved" when it's just been escalated. The response was "I will forward this feedback to the relevant team to initiate discussions on how a support ticket may not always be marked to reflect the correct status of the request itself." (I have no expectation that KA will actually change anything, especially now that it's been almost 18 months.) -
Oh, I see. For some reason my issue is fixed, where the whole vid will play with sound, whereas before it didn’t have any sound after 2:29.
Thanks.

I hope that you don’t mind Janice, but I gave a teacher who was having problems down in Mobile Platform Questions and Feedback the link to your post. I’m pretty sure that it’s the right link.

Oh and also…on my ticket it’s now “closed for comments” what does that mean? Does that mean it’s solved? And also, if I accidentally close the tab how do I get back to it?
-
It basically means the ticket is locked up like a vault. You can’t type any more replies or add new messages to it.
- Most of the time, it means the problem is totally fixed and done, but sometimes it just means:
- Time ran out because nobody said anything for a long time.
- It was a duplicate (meaning you or someone else already asked the exact same question before).
Hope it helps!! -
StarFlame_CS,
I'm curious about your claim that "Most of the time, it [closed for comments] means the problem is totally fixed". That hasn't been my experience. I just spent about 10-30 minutes reviewing the support requests I've made since June 2025: not including re-reports, I've had 23 support requests closed; in only 11 cases (fewer than half!) could the problem even generously be viewed as having been 'fixed' at the time the request was closed; in only 6 cases (barely a quarter) had it been 'totally fixed' in my view.
What's your evidence or reason for your claim that 'closed for comments' usually means the problem is fixed?-------------------------------------------------
To go back to any support request you've made, click on your nickname in the upper right, click on 'My activities', then look through 'My requests'.
In my experience, when it's been about a week since KA staff last responded to a support request, the request gets closed. Just like the 'Solved' label, that seems to have nothing to do with whether the issue has been solved or even passed on to anyone.
If you ever want to make another request on the same topic, you can use the link at the bottom of that request to create a follow-up; it will be linked to your closed request. (I've done this several times, such as on an important transcript mistake that was still wrong a year after I first reported it.)P.S. Yes, thanks for sharing a link to that post with teachers. I've yet to see a single positive (or even neutral) comment from a classroom teacher about Reimagined. (I'm not very optimistic that Khan Academy will actually do anything with the feedback, but I think we have to try, given how much so many teachers and students are struggling.)
