Artificial Intelligence and the Destruction of Trust

I want to put this out there because I feel alone. I think that Khan Academy using generative Ai such as LLM models in its work undermines the mission of the nonprofit. AI is a machine that lies to you, it cannot improve the quality of a website intended to be trusted for education. I feel disappointing in it, it makes me fear the factual accuracy of the courses I desire to take and discourages me. I feel a need to finish all the courses I want to as soon as I can because I I don't know what parts could be generated by a machine in the future and potentially be harmfully false. If humans need to fact check everything AI says, humans need to just create the content in question. Khan Academy had humans make its content for years and years, that changing makes it feel cheap and lazy. I want to be a lifelong learner, I want to trust the resources I have. I wish other people understood. I want to trust Khan Academy. I don't know if I can when they trust an expensive, planet destroying word generator to help students and teachers. Are they aware it is a machine that destroys trust?
