I need help with a Venn Diagram problem.

I really don’t know how to start. Should be awesome if we can go trough that.

For question 1 I have 45 and for the 2nd question I have n(a/b)=n(a and b) / n(b) = 5/14 = 27

So these questions have to do with reading and extracting data from models as well as calculating probability.

For the first 5 questions, you must find different amounts based on the provided data and do some simple arithmetic to find percentages of certain amounts. For the last 3, you are dealing with probability, with the last two being conditional probabilities ("given that" is a good indication of this).

Basic probability is the # satisfies the requirement over the total [Ex: Question #6 --> P(banana selected) = # of banana selections / total possible]

Conditional probability can become a little challenging if it is unclear, so I would especially recommend checking out those videos.

Quick tips:

• Verify your population; ensure that you have the needed values to use in calculations
• "Or" is usually an indication of two things collectively, addition
• When dealing with probabilities and statistics, always carefully read the question; wording matters!
