What's going on?!

Yeah. The transition to the new API seems to be causing a lot of bugs with comments. Some previous bugs have been patched, but 2 new bugs have arrived in the last 24 hours or so. 

1. Comments are now arranged by ID (users kaid) instead of last posted:

This seems to be causing a lot of trouble when it comes to collabs and larger thread with over 20-30 comments. The thread turns into a mess as users can't find the latest post. Posts by the same user seem to be arranged by alphabetical order instead of date posted. 

2. In addition to the new comment sorting, the notifications seem to be broken. We still get the blue dot beside our name when we get a notification, but  no new notifications are shown inside the notifications tab. This is causing its own problems, like being unable to respond to your comments as you've got no idea where to find them.

While these bugs might be annoying, the community will wait patiently till they're patched

Thanks for the additional information! I was able to find some examples of this on my end as well. I've escalated this to the team so they can take a closer look!

I don't know if you've seen this bug already, but I thought I'd point it out.

Comment sorting is almost fixed.  Currently, though, posts are being sorted in reverse by date.

HSstudent16 Thanks for sharing! I've confirmed that the team already has an open bug task for this, so the issue should be fixed sometime this week I would think.
