Music Appreciation / Music History

Please add classroom content for music appreciation and/or music history. Content including, but not limited to: Elements of music, instrument families. Historical periods of music and relative styles, composers, social and cultural developments. The textbook, "Music: An Appreciation", by Kamen is a good point of reference for material. Even though it is a college level text, it is used at the high school level at a slower pace.
