speeding up videos causes problems

What do you mean by audio being skipped? When I speed up videos the audio sounds kind of weird, but there are no parts missing.

For example, sometimes it will sound like words are periodically missing from the audio. I am referring to using the Khan academy app on my iphone. I apologize, I did not make that clear earlier. 

I just tried speeding up a video from my iPhone. The audio was a little more unclear than when I did it on my laptop, but there were no parts missing. You might be able to get clearer sound by using a desktop device, or by watching the videos through the YouTube app. Keep in mind that you'll never get perfect audio when speeding up a video. All of the videos are created to be played at normal speed.

You could also create a support ticket for the issue, which will allow the development team to look into the issue.

There are no problems when I watch on a laptop but this occurs when I speed up the video while watching on an iphone or ipad.
