ThegreatCoder I agree. I found that kind of UI infantile by the time I reached middle school, but I don't particularly care unless it affects the parts of KA that I use (discussions, programs, levels)

hold on, is this REPLACING the old UI for everyone, not just students in classrooms? If so, that is quite an illogical move.

It has a self-evaluation thing now where you evaluate your own project from a checklist.

Go to https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-programming/browse#, click on one of the programs that appear, click "Spin-off", then click "Save" and that should get you the avatar.

That used to be a feature (the Knowledge Map) but it was removed in 2013 in favor of the now-also-removed Missions system.
