Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't both of these technically the same? I don't understand how one could be wrong and the other right if they both apply to x.

I need help to understand this problem. It says to find exactly one solution but doesn't the second answer and the third answer provide only one solution just like the first one? I might be wrong,...
