Links don't work and the discussion features are slow with a good connection

All too often I see comments like this:

People can't find my posts through the notification links. As far as I'm aware, this is only an issue on walk throughs and some videos. Unfortunately, those are where most questions are asked and answered. I hope this is on the list for the discussion overhaul. If it's not, consider adding it. My greatest concern is getting the answers delivered (preferably  to the people who asked the question), and this is another impediment to that.
