I love being able to assign lessons to my class. However, my textbook doesn't go in the same order as Khan so I'm often jumping around and cannot always remember which lesson I previously assigned. It would be nice if there was some sort of indicator (such as a checkmark or highlighting) letting me know that I have assigned that lesson to the current class.

I have great news to share with you!
Based on feedback our teachers shared with us, Khan Academy has launched a new feature that will allow you to see what content you have assigned or scheduled to your class! We know that it can be hard to keep track of all assignments, especially if you teach multiple classes, and we wanted to make it easier for you to see what content you have already assigned for that class.
The Assigned and the Scheduled indicators will appear next to the content on the Assign tab on your class page shortly after you create or schedule an assignment for the whole class or just for a few students.
The Assigned indicator will appear next to every content assigned to your student(s) enrolled in that class (including past due assignments), while the Scheduled indicator will appear next to every content that you assigned for a future date. One important thing to note is that if you delete the assignment, you’ll no longer see the Assigned indicator next to that content.
