Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2 stops working on Drawing tool

I'm currently working my way throught the trigonomety module on my Microsoft Surface Pro 13 on the Chrome App. I'm also using the Surface Slim Pen 2 stylus. All software and hardware is updated.

When I use the drawing tool (draw on exercise), it works at first, but when I hold down the pen, such as if I'm filling in a dot or otherwise keeping the pen in contact with the same spot on the screen for more than a second, the drawing area appears to be "selected" with a black outline, and the right click menu opens. When i tap out of the menu, my stylus no longer draws, but the guide for the stylus still appears and works with everything else except for drawing. My finger also still registers for drawing, just not the stylus. 

I have tried to disable the stylus's "right click" features, but that hasn't fixed the issue. The only solution is to refresh the web page and lose all progress on the current problem. The problem even occurs when I don't currently have the drawing tool enable, but hold the stylus down until the right click menu appears. When I turn on the drawing tool after, the stylus doesn't draw, but my finger does.

Edit: Same problem occurs on the Edge Browser too
