I am currently studying towards a French DELF A2. However, Khan Academy does not teach French or any other language.
I would appreciate it if Khan Academy started teaching French and other languages.
Below is the list of languages Khan Academy should teach:
-French
-German.
-Spanish
-Italian
-Arabic
-Chinese (Mandarin)
-Chinese (Cantonese)
-Pashto
-Farsi

As tAG54 said, Duolingo is a great place to learn languages, and they offer a wide variety of them too! Including the Klingon language from Star Trek! (Still in development)
The reason Khan Academy doesn't teach languages is most likely do to the fact that it takes a long time to learn a language, and just as long to teach one. Simply adding one language to Khan (say for example Spanish), would take a very long time to create content for, and the Khan team has their minds set on other things right now. As much as I, and many others, would love to see languages taught on Khan Academy, realistically it isn't likely to happen, at least not for a long time, especially considering that there are already tons of videos on YouTube that do this.

Maybe someday Khan Academy will be a one-stop learning center. But I agree with other comments that there are enough other resources for learning a language that KA should keep its focus on core content. My husband uses Duolingo, and I prefer Mango Languages. But to develop a single language course to KA's standards would be a big project. Companies like Duolingo and Mango Languages, after all, are trying to find the right balance of lessons and activities, yet aren't totally satisfactory.
The main area I see KA being helpful in language learning is the aspects of language that directly relate to academic success (not tourism, chatting, and so on). Perhaps this would involve analyzing exam vocab (latin roots, affixes, etc), or terminology used by specific types of school (GPA, electives, credits).
