Un assign an assignment

I made a rookie mistake and assigned a bunch of work to the students and they are going to far ahead and not knowing how to do the work. I have tried to un assign assigned work but I can not figure it out. Any advice?

Hi Mr. Sean,

You can unassign some of the content you assigned by deleting the assignments. To do that, you can follow the steps in the article How do I edit or delete assignments?
