Teachers Being Able to Assign SAT Content
In the teacher/coach dashboard, we can only assign suggested SAT prep videos or articles, not actual drills or practice. We can currently only get progress reports (not even the detailed one that shows us how many they missed or got correct but just completion -_-) of SAT practice completed if the students consent to send their teachers/coaches their SAT practice progress. The drills (in the practice section that are categorized by type of question/skill) are incredibly useful, but even when I give students the links to them, they don't do anything that I do not directly enforce! Videos and articles aren't effective for all students; some learn more effectively by actually DOING and trying it themselves!
That's the whole point of having a coach/guide- to help identify weaknesses, provide tangible suggestions for improvement, and enforce set goals! I have a feeling your team will say it's not a priority at this time and don't plan on implementing it, but I beg you. Please reconsider. Allow us to assign practice drills in our teacher dashboards for assigning content. You already have the content up. Just give us the option to assign it to them. Setting deadlines for when specific drills are due will provide students with more accountability and motivate them to do them, and being able to monitor their progress will help us better understand how best to help supplement their weaker areas.
