turn off timer to comply with 504 or IEP

Hi Everyone.

Was there ever a resolution to turning off the timer on assignments or tests?  I need to comply with 504s & IEPs and cannot find out how to turn off the timer anywhere.  I understand the need for the timer (it works really well for many students), but for those with diagnosed anxiety disorders it is a HUGE barrier.  Let me know please.
