Child's lost log in

On my parent dashboard I can see my child, view his progress. BUT, we can't log him in - after several months of not using the system and changing laptops all the previous remembered stuff has gone. If we use my email address (which is the linked email address according to his profile) it takes us to me. If I change the password for his account and then try and log him in, it says the password is incorrect. I have tried logging him in with his username and a variety of passwords but again, the password/user name is incorrect.

How on earth do I allow him to log in and continue working? He's rather disheartened at the thought of having to start his progress all over again.

Hi there!

Thank you for reaching out! It is worth noting that although the email address in your Khan Academy account is linked to your child’s account and is set as their parent, their account is not associated with it in any other way, and they do not share the same log-in information as you.

In other words, the email address, username, and password (for example) are different between your parent account and your child’s account.

That said, could you please submit a support ticket for this issue? This way our support channel can have a deeper look at it.
