Hi there,
In the third or fourth grade, there aren't any concepts involving derivatives - those are taught at the High School level.
I hope this helped! If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know! I'd be glad to help.

Hi Pauline,
I was only able to find lessons on finding second derivatives---there doesn't seem to be any topics that include higher-order derivatives.
However, as long as you know the basic differentiation rules, you can find higher-order derivatives by taking the derivative multiple times. As long as you can find the first derivative of the function, you should be able to find any of the subsequent derivatives by simply taking the derivative over and over again.
Hope this helps!
Anothere quetion, I see single variable calculus prequisite is the algebra throught the 2 ap courses bur can I just do the math on here and avoid doing the math from the single varuable calculus because I look at the calculus on its pdf and on here and it see it has the same thing, so can I avoid single variable calculus? I am self teaching myself maybe one day ill get back to college and I am into math and science, mainly trying for partival and quantum physics throwing in some chemistry.
I guess I'm not sure what you mean by "can I just do the math on here and avoid doing the math from the single varuable calculus". Khan Academy doesn't have a specific single variable calculus course. If you're wanting to learn calculus, I suggest working through the Differential Calculus and then Integral Calculus courses. However, you'll need to at least be comfortable with Algebra 1 and 2, and trigonometry before starting the calculus courses.
Does that help?
its ok Evan Lewis
