Easier erase function in drawing mode on mobile devices/tablets

I was using the Khan Academy app on my tablet last night, but when I used the drawing function to work out my calculations, I found that the erase tool only has a fine point on it. This made erasing errors, or freeing up space to expand calculations quite tedious. It would be nice to have a click and drag function to select large areas to erase. I also noticed that there is no drawing function at all on the iPhone app. A drawing function would be useful for when people want to use the app but don’t have immediate access to pen and paper. Thanks :)

I mainly use Khan Academy via the iPad app. They have made the drawing/scratchpad/sketchpad function worse in recent months. Formerly, there was an undo tool, which was great if I wanted to erase my most recent drawing. Also, I used to be able to scroll the drawing/scratchpad/sketchpad. Now it is limited to the surface area.

I used Report a problem on the top of this page, to the right of center, with an option called something like suggest a feature. I asked for a return of the undo tool and the ability to scroll the drawing/scratchpad/sketchpad, plus the return of a couple of other capabilities that were removed. I got back a reply that said these were removed for "an improved user experience"! Huh? This degraded my user experience!

I suggest that you use Report a problem and suggest these features, too. (Be sure to ask for an undo tool and scrolling capability.) Maybe if enough of us complain, they will return these features to the iPad app.
