Can a student take algebra 2 before taking geometry?

As a fellow student, I can say that algebra 2 can actually help me solve problems in plane geometry just by training me further in my mathematical thinking. I didn't experience any major difficulties learning algebra 2 on my way to plane geometry/

Then again, if you're not talking about high school plane geometry, algebra 2 is still comprehensive as long as you get pre algebra and much of algebra 1 down.
