Homeschooling

I would like to know this, too. My daughter's middle school is closing next year (we live overseas) and we need a curriculum for 8th grade.

I'm homeschooling and use Kahn for Math, Grammar and Art History.  Oh and computer programming just for fun :)

Go to the upper left and click on subjects and then choose what is right for your needs.  There is a q & a for Homeschoolers that might help you a lot.  Good luck!  We love it here!

Khan is great for home-schoolers to learn math and grammar. Older kids will get a lot out of the other courses as well. The math section is the most complete so far with age-appropriate material for all the grades.
Let's hope that there is energy to expand the language and history areas to include material for younger students.
Home-schooling is all about parent involvement, though, so Khan just helps fill in places where we might have gotten rusty!
I'm really enjoying reviewing and re-learning my math skills alongside my child. (Who remembers how to multiply fractions and what a rhombus is?)

We're homeschooling 2 kids and love it. They have learned more than ever in public schools.
But am wondering about Activities such as outside get togethers for groups of homeschooling kids for K/1 and 7th graders.
If anyone knows of any let me know?
