I was just suggesting that it would be nice to have students actually graph linear inequalities instead of just choosing correct answers. Sometimes students can just muscle through a problem if they have answers in front of them. Having to graph the line and choose a solid or dashed line and know which way to shade would allow more thinking to take place.
There used to be an exercise (similar to the exercise of graphing linear equations) where the student graphs the two inequalities, selecting whether to use a dotted line or solid line. I can't find the exercise. It feels like the exercises have been "dumbed down" for some reason with lower quality graphs. This is not the only situation where a great exercise has been removed and not replaced or replaced with an inferior exercise. Please bring back the old exercise!!!
Once in a while I have found myself needing to go to another site because a certain exercise doesn't exist on khanacademy. That was always the case. It seems to be the case more and more even through there's more content. From a user perspective, there's the feeling of quality going down it seems, and I may need to look for another place for math exercises. :(
