My students want to work on Khan Academy at home, but are having trouble logging on. Is there a generic guideline for parents informing them how to log into their child's classroom within khan academy? What information will students need to have in order to log in from home (i.e.: class code? password?). Students want their account at home linked with their school account in order to help build their "points" and follow through on lessons they have begun in class.

So your students actually will be able to log in to their school account at home.
Basically, the information they will need is their Username, and their password.
Their password I assume they already will know.If not, you as their coach will be able to make them a new password(I would advise you to let them choose it though.)
Their Username might be a little more tricky. They can either use the email they used to make their account(this is definitely the easier option), or they can use their @theirname. The way they know what their name is is by going to their home page, and looking at the word next to their name(NOT THEIR ACTUAL NAME!)
I have put a picture underneath to demonstrate this. The word indicated by red arrows is the word they would use.
They then, once they have this info, and are at home, can go to Khan Academy.com, and click log-in.(picture below)\/
They then type their email(preferably) or their username, and their password, as shown below.
This should enable them to continue wherever they left off last time they used Khan Academy.
