Specific Music Copyright for JS/HTML
This feels like the wrong place to post, but all the other categories seem even less relevant. Let me know if there's somewhere I should move this question to.
After learning that audio players (like this one: https://www.khanacademy.org/cs/i/6431239874985984) are allowed, I'd like to take a stab at making a proper rhythm game. Before I do that, I want to get confirmation on exactly what songs on this "setlist" would be allowed (i.e., no copyright issues and "school-appropriate"):
Various music released under NoCopyrightSounds:
- Warriyo ft. Laura Brehm - Mortals
- Jim Yosef - Firefly
- DEAF KEV - Invincible
- Diviners ft. Philly K - Savannah
- RetroVision - Puzzle
- Jim Yosef & Anna Yvette - Can't Wait
- Kisma - Fingertips
ROMA (fully copyright-free):
- NEURODIVERGENCE
- DANCIN VIBES ft. Kasane Teto
Jamie Paige (releases under Creative Commons BY-NC-SA):
- Machine Love ft. Kasane Teto
- Hope Cafe ft. Hatsune Miku
- Liason
- Second Hello
- Greatsword / Love as Fire
- Gentle Heart
FLAVOR FOLEY (copyrighted, but their FAQ explicitly allows rhythm game charting):
- 炜WARD ROMANCE ft. Feng Yi
- Clover ft. Chis-A
- Human ft. SF-A2 Miki
- weathergirl ft. Eleanor Forte
- streetcat ft. Nekomura Iroha
Good Kid (copyrighted, but has a long history of letting people do literally anything with their music):
- Coffee
- Eastside
- Tornado
- No Time To Explain
- From the Start
- Mimi's Delivery Service
I'd like confirmation from a Guardian on this if possible, because I don't want to spend a couple months making something that will immediately get taken down.
PS: I can post links to the songs on youtube and/or to the artists' websites, but I'm not doing it here for fear of this post getting nuked. Also, sorry to whoever I've just forced to waste an hour or two listening to random music.
