New to adding my class to KHAN

Hello Mary! My name is Lisa Krueger and I am a Khan Academy Ambassador teaching in Chicago. May I be the first to Welcome to you the Khan Academy family! Since your students are younger I would recommend starting with the Early Math mission, it covers counting, addition/subtraction, measurement/data, and geometry. This would be a good place to begin. Encourage students by announcing students that earn badges (you'll receive notifications) and possible give small prizes to students who master the most skills or spend the most time watching videos. Hi Mary -- I was going to type pretty much the same thing that Lisa Krueger did, but want to make sure of one thing:  Is "Grade One" in the UAE the same as it is in the US?  That is, students aged 6 and 7?

If so, Early Math (which covers grades K-2) is a great place for your students to start -- it'll teach them how to use Khan Academy while they're working on easy-to-do exercises and will help you discover where they have early gaps forming in their math knowledge.
