Fix the unit tests!

I cannot stress this enough. The unit test system is pedagogically inadequate and unproportionally punishing. The system is archaic and seems based on the notion that punishment encourages learning. 

Khan Academy is one of the greatest learning resources in the world, so I find it astonishing that this system is still in place, after so many years. 

Is the system based upon educational research? Has it been proven that this is the most efficient way for a student to learn material? Why has this still not been fixed? 

Please find a solution to this ridiculous system!!
