Do you have a screenshot showing the answer that you submitted to the question? It appears that the answer shown in the explanation is correct, so I'm thinking it might be an issue with the answer box instead.

One thing to note is that the i should be located outside of the square root in the answer, so it's important to make sure that you press the right arrow key before typing the i symbol, otherwise it will be placed under the square root. I've seen a lot of students commonly make this mistake in the imaginary numbers units. You should also be able to place the i symbol in front of the square root, which may make it easier to type the answer.
