Supporting your child who is working at different year levels for different subjects.

I would advice looking at what Khan Academy has to offer. They have great videos and practice problems in each course.  Have your son go through the classes related to what he should be studying.  I recommend being there with him as he goes through the problems and videos, so he feels supported and can ask questions about what he does not understand.  You can also find a coach or tutor to help him, but that is completely up to you.

As a son of parents who love me but are not interested on learning, I think it would be great for him/her and you to be involved. To act not only as a coach but also as a competitive colleague. That could motivate your son.
