High School Reading and Writing Courses

Hello!! I am using Khan Academy for the first time for my high school English classes. I really appreciate the HS Grammar course because my students can learn at their own pace the proper use of the English language. Here's my issue with Khan Academy though: there are not courses for HS reading or writing. I'm wondering if Khan Academy will add HS English Literature as part of the course offerings to allow students the opportunity to study not only American Literature but also world literature too. My seniors take British Literature, so it would be awesome if that course was available on Khan Academy! My Juniors take American Lit, and we do a very large unit on transcendentalist essays and poetry, specifically zooming in on Walt Whitman. A course on poetry reading and writing would be very beneficial. My Freshmen would benefit from a response to literature writing course that would detail how to close read a text, analyze it, and then write an essay about their analysis. My Sophomores would benefit from an argumentative writing course that takes them through how to formulate a claim, support it with data and evidence, and then defend that claim through counterclaims. All-in-all, I would love to see more content for English and writing classes in the secondary level. Thank you!
