Homeschool parent. I originally set up my son and had issues, but now I can't remember how I fixed it, but I don't think this was the issue I had before.
I added a new kiddo on my parent dashboard, and when I go to their profile and click Teachers to enter my teacher code, then go back to my teacher dashboard, it doesn't add the new kid, it has added ME instead.

I believe this is a bug with the Teachers tab on child account profiles. If you log out of your account and log into your child's account directly, then you should be able to add yourself as a teacher from the Teachers page.
Note that you will need to check the "Can add other coaches" box in their account settings before doing this (you can uncheck afterwards if you would like to restrict this).
