How do I Scalar Multiplication when its by fractions?

Hello Community support,

So today I am learning scalar multiplication practice exercises I can do single multiplication but this question is now a fraction I use a notebook and pen to pratice then using a scratchpad I watch Sal Khan's video and it was extremely helpful but when a fraction appeared it made me wonder what and how I am supposed to work this mathematical question. Any help I would appreciate it!
