To make your reading passages more realistic, you should allow for the user to print out the passage associated with the questions (including the line numbers), so that the student can underline and annotate just as he would in an actual test.
Also, you should include optional timers for all parts of the practice, so we have a general understanding regarding how fast we must do each problem.
You can print the reading passages from the College board website. The practice tests on there are the same as on Khan Academy.
I'm not sure what you mean by "optional timers," but I have found that pacing depends on the individual taking the exam and there is no general understanding of how fast someone should do each problem. Each student should try to do better than they did last time. Some guides (and I agree) suggest that many students should not be spending time working on every question; rather they should slow down and answer correctly those they work on and bubble the rest with LOTD.
