There is no feature that reads to younger students!

After getting so excited about the content and format of this website, my teaching partner and I signed all of our 2nd and 3rd graders up for math and literacy practice (mostly math). As our student finally began to start working on assignments we realized there was no feature that reads the math questions to students. For many of our students that are not proficient readers yet, this seems to be pretty unusable for them. I guess we will not be able to use this for our classroom until this feature is available. What a bummer :(

We may add this feature in the future, but in the meantime, some teachers find it helpful to use screen readers like Chrome Vox: http://www.chromevox.com/. Feel free to share this tool with any teachers who might benefit from it, I hope this helps!

I was also going to suggest a read aloud button or something because 3 of my children are not able to read most of the questions but they are very well capable of solving the math problems if I read them the question. My solution is to go into the accessibility settings of your computer and turn the Narrator on. It's kinda annoying because it reads everything your mouse comes across. You can change some settings to tone down the obnoxiousness.

If you are unsure where to find Narrator settings on your computer just type in Narrator settings in the search bar of your startup menu.

I hope this helps parents and teachers with younger students.
