Creating Your Own Avatar
I would think it would be cool if we could design our own avatars. This is my idea. We could program the (JavaScript) code for our image, save our graphic as an image, then submit the image to the Khan Staff for them to review, to make sure it contains nothing that is inappropriate. Then, if their image is approved, it becomes available for the creator to use. I am thinking maybe, to access the submission area, there would be a dropdown bar or something in the avatar selection area, and when clicked, would open a new tab, with the page that asks for the download of the image. There the user can upload their image, and submit it for approval. I know that people might spam the Guardians because of this, but this step is needed so that no inappropriate images are allowed.
If Khan Academy created a way for this to be possible, I think lots of people would enjoy it, and it would give them a new way to express themselves. Please consider my request, as I think myself and many others would love if this was added. Thank you!
