I'm a teacher who collaborates with two special ed. instructional aides in three different classrooms. That's at least 10-12 students with IEP's in each of those classes. Couple this with at least three (3) EL students in each of those classes that require accommodations as well. Now with the COVID-19 distant learning challenges, co-teaching in those classes are vital to the success of my students.
I couldn't agree more with this! This year is new for me, as I'm teaching SPED math for the first time. Thankfully, my co-teacher is amazing and really knows her SPED stuff, but I'm definitely the math brains of the pair. We already struggle with our kids not logging on or doing any work during this quarantine, but they really enjoy Khan Academy, so it'll be more motivation for them to do the work.
