Stages of scientific investigation question

I would say this step falls under Analyze Results/Draw Conclusions because Jack concludes from his little experiment that the door of the refrigerator is made of a nonmagnetic substance

Indeed, this would constitute as the stage in which you draw conclusions based on preliminary observations and investigation; this is where you develop a hypothesis, an explanation of a phenomenon or occurrence that requires further investigation.

This is not a final answer, but at which point you merely consider the most likely possibility. The next step would be to conduct tests to see if the hypothesis is accurate and a possible solution or explanation. If the hypothesis is flawed or you become last, you can backtrack to this stage and develop a new hypothesis to investigate.
