Hey!
I have a current streak of 1,771:
https://www.khanacademy.org/profile/CandyExplorer/
...and as you might assume, I've "lost" my streak a few times. Typically with my account, it's a server issue simply because my profile has so much activity on it and they're really understanding about that.
However, if you create a ticket here on the help center reporting your problem, they are typically more than happy to extend a one time courtesy streak repair.
So yes, it is possible to get your streak restored!
Best Wishes and best of luck on your 100 day streak,
Light Runner

I'm sorry to tell you that there isn't a way to get your streak back other than coming back every day for another streak.
I know how you feel. I lost by streaks 4 or 3 times. I was very sad. But I continued coming.
Don't give up. You don't have to maintain a streak, but you should come back often!
Hope you come back!!!!!!!

Yes, KA is not about maintaining a streak, but rather, learning.

My streak just ended as well, dropping from from 71 days to 0 and I also thought I had watched a video, but there were a lot of issues with technology so it didn't count. Thanks to Light Runner I'm going to ask here and hope to get my streak back.
Edit: Did you get your streak back?
-
I will but I was trying to get the 100 day streak and I really thought I had watched a video that day. I was up to 60 days and now I have to start over. I shouldn't let it bother me but it does, I guess I am just an emotionally frail human. Lol!

No I never got it back. I gave up! I am getting my master's degree now and I don't really need to study the stuff on Khan Academy at the moment. I will get back into it when I am not taking classes. I supposed if I had kept the streak going, and then asked Khan Academy to restore the one-day gap they might have done it, but I just decided to take a break from it!

Things that could have caused you to not get credit for the streak when you watched the video:
1. Khan Academy went down for a while, with the outage beginning while you were watching the video and not ending before you finished watching it. This happened to me recently, but because I was able to watch another video the same day after Khan came back up, I kept my streak going.
2. You watched the video close to midnight your time. Even if you finished it before midnight, I have found that sometimes when I do some Khan work very late in the day, it gets credited to the next day. One time, when my first Khan work that day was close to midnight, I temporarily lost my streak, but I got it back after I used Report A Problem and explained what had happened.
3. Are you sure you watched a video rather than read an article? If the only activity of the day is article reading, it doesn't extend a streak. Doing practice exercises, unit quizzes, unit tests, and course challenges also extend a streak.
