Why would you distribute the numerator of the solved first derivative twice?  See my comments indicating the double application of 3x^2 and the lines indicating its double application.  There isn't...

At 4:45 you show y=e^x and x=e^y.  Not true, I believe.  Rather the latter should be x=e^(1/y). 2980 - e^8 but e^2980=Infinity.  Rather e^(1/2980)=8. James
