ok all the ones that werent showing before are now but can you tell me how the hiding of comments work? because ive heard that comments under three characters get hidden or something. is this true?

I've commented on peoples tips and thanks but when i go back to the page after leaving it their not there? i can find them in discussion but why are they hidden?
