As a home school teacher, I use Khan Academy exclusively for my children's math curriculum because I think it's very well-done. However, a great support tool for parents/teachers would be some kind of lesson mapping.

Each section has videos and exercises. Many of these are very easy to match up because they have the exact same title. For example, there is a video called "Cutting shapes into equal parts" and an exercise called "Cutting shapes into equal parts". Those obviously go together so I will assign the video before that exercise. However many of the sections aren't so simple. A section might have two videos and six exercises and the titles don't match up. So as their teacher, I have to guess which videos the student should watch before doing each exercise. The easy solution for me is to simply assign all videos in a section, then all exercises. But that's not how learning works for many students. If they watch four videos in a row and then have to do an exercise to practice what was taught in the first video, they can become confused because they've received too much information. The exercises should line up with the video lesson they've just watched. It's frustrating to my daughter when I've made her assignments and because they aren't always clear to me, sometimes she will get an exercise assigned for skills she hasn't learned yet.

Can Khan Academy do some mapping to help us teachers/parents understand which videos align with which exercises?
