Howdy,

I am only in Khan to study for my praxis exams. I am a teacher and an adult... why does the learner profile force me to choose a course? Praxis prep is not there, nor are other relatable topics...None of the available options in the courses menu apply to me. I am forced to choose a child's course and it's weird. What am I doing wrong?

I clicked "teacher" to fix the first issue... and now Khan asked me to choose my class and add students to my class... dudes, I am only here to study for Praxis okay lol. Y'all don't even have "Art" or "ESL" as class options for teachers.

We are two for two now! lol. Please help? Thanks

Hi MissLara,

The site currently requires users to select at least one course to appear on their Learner Homepage. However, there's no such thing as "enrolling" in a course on Khan Academy (all users have access to all of the courses), so you can select a random course to make the popup go away and that won't negatively affect anything on your account.

The "Teacher/Coach" option under "Roles" in your account settings is meant for teachers that are using Khan Academy in their school/classroom, so if this isn't the case for you, then you can unselect that option to hide the teacher functionality on your account.

That being said, I agree that it would be helpful to have the Praxis Core Prep available in the list of courses to select! I'll share this feedback with our team so they can take a look at adding this to the course picker!
