I dropped out in 11th grade due to a generally rebellious attitude, and many years have passed from then until now. Currently, I am in my late thirties, and I had the unfortunate circumstance of running into strange and unavoidable trouble in my last relationship. 

Prior to being arrested, I didn't know this website existed. Upon being informed that there was a completely free education available to me on the provided tablets, I, initially, was incredulous of the notion. I explored what was available and found myself absolutely floored at the contents of this website. I truly can't believe this is something that is readily available at no cost, and I am still impressed at how vast and comprehensive the nature of content available.

I love learning and always have, but I had trouble with traditional schooling due to the LCD pacing and structure.

During my year of incarceration, I studied College Algebra (~90%), College Calculus BC (~50%), and Electrical Engineering (~80%). I wasn't able to keep my progress due to the facilities' general unwillingness to do more than necessary, HOWEVER, I made a new account, and I am picking up where I left off.

All of this to say, I can't thank y'all enough, Sal and Willy especially, for giving me a great gift. The choice not to waste away in decay while I was forcibly hidden away from the world. I, in fact, have come out a better and more learned person. 

I had never sought to further my education because I had always thought that an exorbitant amount of money was required to do so. I, having never been blessed with much, had written off learning almost in its entirety, less what little I could glean from random websites, such information, being incredible at best, taken with a boulder of salt and requiring a great amount of filtering to be constructive.

My only regret is having never found this website before, for I know my learning journey would be even more great in its fecundity. 

Being as I have so greatly benefitted from this gift in my time of need, I am sure I am not the only one who has/is/will be in chains that will seize the chance at self-improvement, given there is a chance to be had.

Thank you once again. Through suffering, I found a better me, mentally, spiritually, and physically. Hopefully I can show potential employers I am not less for what I've been through, I am the sum of everything I have conquered.
