I believe you should still be able to put emojis in your display name... I just tried this and was successfully able to add an emoji to the end of my name.

I know there's a limit as to how long your display name can be, so using a large amount of emojis/special characters might prevent you from updating your name if you surpass this limit.

If you're still having issues with this, could you post a screenshot of what you're trying to update your display name to and what happens after you click save?

The same issue I have been facing right now.

You can copy an emoji and paste it in your username.

I am able to put emoji`s in my name.

if you search "emoji's"  in a search platform like google there are a few websites with emoji's you can copy and paste.
