Adding Musical Tones to getSound()

I was wondering if y'all could implement musical tones into the getSound() function. I understand y'all don't want programs to be centered around the sounds and this would allow people to create programs of recreated famous songs but just like the other guidelines for using sound, this could be one of them. I just thought some background music would be cool. It doesn't need to be complicated either, maybe just 2 octaves of retro-styled tones. Thanks, and I understand if y'all decide not to do this.

That’d be really cool. Unfortunately, I don’t think any modifications in terms of sound or image availability have been made for a while in the code editor nor will they for some time.

I believe that there is a way to get sounds in the webpage editor that would suit your needs. You could create your tune and then load the Processing JS library and add your game code. How to access these sounds in the webpage editor is sadly beyond my knowledge b it if you would like a few links on examples and how to load Processing JS into a webpage, I can try to get you those links.

Using the Web Audio API to generate sounds in the webpage environment is also not encouraged. There might be ways to edit the sounds slightly in the PJS environment (which I'm not sure how discouraged it is yet).
