This document from CollegeBoard should provide more information about the Math section of the SAT. I would also suggest taking a look at Khan Academy's Official SAT Practice for practice on all sections of the SAT.

No, usually it will not be enough.

The SAT was created to meet the lowest course you can take in high school, which ends at Algebra 2 if you are in Common Core Math path.  Thus, even if you don't prepare, you will still have taken Alg. 2, unless of course, you are taking the SAT earlier (like me).
