Why we do this

Every two months, volunteers from the Challenge Council organize a themed programming contest so that our community of budding programmers have a chance to showcase their creativity and coding abilities. For our January/February contest, they were asked to create a program that showcases a person, event, or concept from the Middle Ages. One of the winners showcased an excellent demonstration of the concepts taught in the Intro and Advanced JS courses with some 16-bit styling thrown in!

Next up: Geography

Our next contest is set to be as exciting as a summer road trip! Geography is more than just maps and coordinates; it's about exploring diverse cultures, landscapes, and connections that make up our beautiful planet. 🌴🌊 We invited them to create a program that brings a unique perspective to the world of geography. Whether it's uncovering hidden patterns, highlighting environmental issues, showcasing cultural heritage, or simply having fun with geographic data, we can't wait to see where this journey takes us! 🚗🗺️
