Hello,
I am confused about the content portion of the Breakthrough Junior Challenge. Do I need to have extensive knowledge about the topic I choose? Or, rather, can I choose a topic that interests me and then research it in order to gain enough understanding for a comprehensive video?

Hey, Emma! I am also considering entering the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, and I think that it's important to do something that interests you. No, you don't have to have an extensive knowledge, you just have to research well enough to enable you to present a video that will reflect on your understanding on the topic.
