If you're wanting to use the desktop site, then I suggest starting with the 2nd Grade ELA course and then have her work her way up to the 5th grade course.

The 1st grade content is only available in the Khan Kids app, which has content for grades Pre-K - 2nd, but that is another option if she has access to a mobile device.
