The name Khanmigo is derived from the Spanish word conmigo which means "with me", and the word Khan for Khan Academy! It coincidentally also sounds like a combination of "Khan" with the Spanish word amigo, which means "friend."

We were drawn to this name as it evokes a welcoming presence to offer guidance as you navigate through your learning journey at Khan Academy!
